Robby Ocktavian is an artist and arts organiser born in Samarinda who works across film, sound art, and performance art. Alongside friends from Sindikat Sinema—a collective he founded—he frequently screens films in alternative spaces throughout Samarinda. He studied International Relations at Mulawarman University, then, visual production through the Milisifilem Collective programme. Currently, he serves as the director of the Muara Kreasi Merdeka Foundation, a non-profit organisation that organises the MUARASUARA Sound Art Festival and the Naladeva Film Festival in Samarinda. more bio…
